Flowers for a Tea occasion
Season: March
By Grand Master Fuden-an Sojitsu
Flowers used: Camellia japonica “Kamohonami”, Kibushi (Stachyurus praecox)
Receptacles: Celadon, “takenoko”
This flower is for the grand hall at the occasion of Enshuki.
Since its alcove is also large, I, on purpose, selected the Kamohonami camellia with big bud and leaves from my own garden.
In terms of Kibushi, it is a bit early for the season. I picked up the kibushi with curved branches, which portrays a movement of spring breeze.
